Insurance Restoration Estimator
Modern Remodeling
Modern Remodeling has been a leader in the residential insurance restoration industry since 1990. We are seeking an experienced Insurance Restoration Estimator with a background in insurance claims, restoration, and Xactimate estimating. This role is ideal for someone who understands the insurance process and enjoys working directly with homeowners and adjusters to close profitable projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Inspect residential properties and scope storm, water, and other insured losses
- Create detailed estimates using Xactimate
- Work directly with homeowners, insurance adjusters, and insurance carriers
- Manage claim files, documentation, and supplements
- Negotiate scope and pricing when necessary
- Present upgrades and material selections
- Ensure projects meet company quality and service standards
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary plus commission
- End-of-year performance bonus
- $50,000 – $100,000+ earning potential based on performance

Qualifications
- Experience in insurance restoration, residential insurance claims, or construction estimating
- Xactimate experience preferred
- Knowledge of insurance scopes, pricing, and supplement processes
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to climb roofs and lift up to 70 lbs.
